SPC Yesterday and Today
| St. Paul Corrugating Company has re-invented itself several times since our founding in 1885 on St. Paul's Waterfront. |
Early on SPC's pressed metal ceilings were part of a growing architectural product offering that has changed with the times. |
| After the turn the century, as the automobile became commonplace, SPC was an early pioneer of freestanding metal buildings and garages. |
As the Industrial Age brought new prosperity with a building boom, a new product was born that has made a lasting impact that continues today; the galvanized steel areawall. The post- war years brought new ownership and a renewed emphasis on residential housing products. |
Over the years, our Lux-Right™ areawalls have endured as our lasting trademark. While we have been known to build areawalls to any request, modern egress codes have influenced basement window wells for the better.

During the years that St. Paul Corrugating Company was a division of the H. V. Johnston Culvert Company, a dashing Ira N. Burhans oversaw the growth of SPC to become the privately held family business it is today. |
